The understatement of the century....

Mom: "Sirri, aren't you glad it's not you going to the hospital today?" (Kendon had his tonsils out today.)

Sirri: "Uh, yeah. If I get cancer again, that will be soooo annoying." (Read in a tone that says, "Go ahead cancer. Try me. I will kick your trash!")

Neener neener neener. You can't get us!

Right on! She is so awesome!
Ohhhh, I got my tonsils out at age 35. It was DREADFUL! Poor Kendon. They say it is harder when you are an adult. I was miserable. He will probably be a lot braver than I was, though.

you need to hook her up with that show "kids say the darndest things". if there's a cash prize for wittiest remark, your sirri will win it for sure.

HA HA! What a funny little girl. So true. Cancer is annoying, or as I once posted: Cancer Sucks.

So sorry for Kendon. My brother had his out earlier this year and it was horrid.

Your family is so funny! We still need to get together sometime. I am always home so your welcome to come by when ever you want:)

Cancer does suck. As a former oncology nurse and one who has lost her mom to cancer, it is no fun. So glad she is doing well.

SO sad for Kendon though. My husband got his tonsils out a few years ago. It IS much harder as an adult than a child to have that surgery. I actually got a call from my sister-in-law when I was at work saying she was taking Nathan into the ER because his stitches came undone and he was spurting blood out of his mouth like a fountain. Nice, huh? It was a rocky recovery.

So glad that everything is done. Now we just have to get that window taken care of and we will be even better. Glad you were able to go and support him. What a blessing Jaci is for taking the kiddos. Love you guys.

Yeah.

FYI, Cancer: don't annoy Sirri again.

Hey, also, I'm going to be in Idaho Falls this weekend--I wonder if between all the family activities, we could hook up?

Ugh! Kendon had his tonsils out?! I did that at 18 and it was miserable!!! I hope his recovery goes well. I'll say this. It was a nifty diet. I dropped like 10 pounds in two weeks. Not eating does that to a person. Send him my regards! And sympathy.

Loved the comment on our blog Lisa. I must say...your Tylenol story takes the cake! I now know what to do with all our summer squash that just keeps growing even though we are sick of it...boats and vases! Sweet!
