66

66 - The high today!

One happy mamma who couldn't possibly bear the cold and wind and snow any longer.

8.5 - The number of hours Connor spent outside today. Sirri and Meg were at a close second logging in at 6.5 hours. They had school and naps, respectively. Mommy came in at third. But barely!ZERO - The number of times Connor came inside in that 8.5 hours.

5 - snacks and/or meals eaten outside since yesterday.

300 - The temperature we grilled steak and potatoes at. YUM!
One zillion jumps on our tramp. Mommy's favorite toy!

5 - Loads of laundry done. All five folded by Mr. Jensen. aka: Supertrooper!

1 - House that actually stayed clean since no one was in it all day.

THREE
filthy kiddos.2 - The number of seconds it took the kidlets to zonk in their beds.

#1 kind of day!

Unfortunately....

36 - hours until the next predicted storm blows in. Seriously?

Oh, ha ha, Lisa-Marie! That was the high here too and we were FREEZING our butts off. I had to bring in all my new plants tonight cause it's going to freeze.

It's all relative.

My kids are so used to being able to play outside, that when we went up North (where it SNOWED the whole time we were there) they were STIR CRAZY!

I never take for granted the sunny weather. :)

Did you wear sandals?

Will the storm require snow boots or rain boots?

I wish it rained enough here to need cute rain boots.

No! Seriously??? More snow??? Man, doesn't winter know when to quit up there? I remember feeling like spring would never arrive, and there is nothing worse than getting your hopes up just to get more white stuff. Sorry. Hope you really, really had a great day then.

Man, I feel just terrible for you! Talk about rotten luck. That's no way to live.

Come visit me in Texas. I'll take care of y'all. ;)

Oh, I love those kind of days! Especially that part about the house staying clean because no one is in it and kids falling asleep in two seconds. Signs of a very good day. I could use some of that 60's weather please.
