Happy Anniversary!

Yesterday was Kendon and I's eighth wedding anniversary. We celebrated last weekend while in Boise. Kendon surprised me with tickets to a dinner theater. It was absolutely perfect. The show was fabulous and it was a gift from Kendon's heart. He knows that I love love love stuff like that. (Sometimes I think I missed my calling in life and should have been a Broadway star. Too bad I can't sing!)

Yesterday to celebrate we spent the first half of the day with Sirri at the hospital having some dental work done (no big deal, I'll post details later.) The second half of the day, we cleaned the house and folded laundry. I did make a super fancy dinner of Hawaiin Haystacks and strawberry lemonade. (That is fancy, right?) We also had a delicious, Better than Whatever cake that the kiddos all helped us make.
So, all in all, it was just a regular ole day. But that was alright by me. We spent the day taking care of our family and the life that we have created together. The family and life that was only a dream eight years ago. And now, is a dream come true.

Happy Anniversary, Kendon. I love you and am thankful for you everyday!

Sometimes the regular ol' days are the best ones, no? Kind of means that life is good.

i remember that day so well. in fact, i found myself thinking of your reception today as i washed grapes. yes, grapes remind me of how classy i acted at your reception by stuffing as many grapes as i could into my mouth and taking pictures of it with aubry and marci. what good friends we were.

i loved that i was there on your wedding day. it was awesome. i love that i have so many memories of you and kendon in the beginning of it all. . .

-the crazy-hair date (you were testing him!)
-driving around with him in his patrol car
-when you stalked him and drove out to his house
-the engagement story . . . over and over and over and over because i went home with you to boise days after it happened and you still had to tell everyone the story. i still have it memorized . . . :)
-getting kendon's input on my guy situations
and many more . . .

happy anniversary you two!

Happy Anniversary! It is fun to look back but I think I love my man more today than I did when we got married. Young love is fun and exciting but I wouldn't trade it for what I have with my man now.

Gag me I know. ;) Such mush.
