Have you seen the last post I did on my blog? Not only is it about how much I hate laundry, but the reason that the post is still the last one posted. This horrible thing keeps me busy....and like you my kids wear more outfits in the summer than the winter. Goodluck with this chore....definately not my favorite.
i am thoroughly convinced that if you add a baby boy to the family, the laundry pile quadruples! this has been so true for us. . . ever since oliver came our laundry has exploded!
remind me sometime to share my post about laundry. in it, i debate the pros of joining a nudist colony, so as not to disrupt my clean laundry pile. i feel i made a compelling arguement. perhaps you will find your solution there.
I shouldn't even be blogging right now I am so behind on housework...one of my biggest problems is LAUNDRY! Blech...
I think I need to cut back on my blogging but, I can't seem to stop myself...I admire that you don't let it consume you...I need to find better balance in my life...
I don't like Laudry either! I know I do more Laundry during the Summer than winter becasue My kids like to wait 'til the last minute to go potty! -- then the last second-- then.... well, it's wet NOW! :o)
ok, I'm going to share with you what helps me... I swear by it! -- I wear too many hats in my life right now, this works for me.
All 3 of my kids have their OWN dirty baskets in their rooms, when the Laudry basket gets full, I wash them, not all together though, becasue it's too hard & takes too long to sort through all the baskets when they are clean!
So all of my kids have thier own clean Laundry baskets & all the clean clothes go in it, that way if I don't have time to fold them right then & their, I know that all of, let's say, Logan's clothes are in this particular basket. I average about 2 loads of Laundry a DAY, excluding usually Sat. & NO Laundry on Sundays. Sorry, such a Long Comment. -- I swear this works for me! Good LUCK! the NEVER ending CHORE!
I will be more than happy to join a nudist colony like what Andrea mentioned! lol :o)
laundry is the one chore i absolutely hate. it's just so never-ending. & it is sooo easy to get behind. at this exact moment i think everything i own needs to be washed. & yet, i have no desire! if you find a magical solution, let me know.
This used to happen to me once in a while when the kids were growing up, but not just for Pappa and me. The Weekes family comment sounds like a very good idea to me! They sure would be easy to fold and put away! My goodness, Honey, you only have three under the age of 4 1/2! I just don't understand!! Ha ha! You are bound to get behind once in a while! We love you!!!
I'm totally laughing 'cause last week I called my husband into the laundry room where WAY too much laundry was piled all around me and made him take a picture. It's the price I paid for leaving all of them and going to WC I guess. Loved meeting you at Blogapalooza :)

Words of Wisdom
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.” -Marianne Williamson

Ah, the never ending chore. Just did three loads myself. Good luck!
Looks like my huge pile-o-laundry...that really never seems to go away. Or if some some magical reason it does go away, it doesn't last very long.
I feel your pain.

That pile looks vaguely familiar. Hmmm...maybe it is because I have one of my own. Ick. I hate laundry.

I hear you!! I swear I am rummaging through piles of clean laundry on the floor daily just to find stuff to wear!!
I hate folding and putting clothes away.
Laundry is my WORST household chore. Zach has had to take over a lot of it just to get it caught up.
funny...it seems our loads have gone down since the weather got nicer. hooray for putting away the onsies, tights, socks, sweaters, heavy blankets...
My children have outgrown things waiting for me to fold them.
I feel your pain.
Jennibelle's comment was GREAT!

My eyeballs are twitching just looking at that picture. I'll be on the next flight out. It MUST be done.
Oh Lisa! Sigh...

No you are not the only one. Sadly. And I don't want to do laundry. I want to lay around and read my book. Being an adult is just no fun sometimes.
Got three loads "in line" right now. I have to just get it done in one day...otherwise laundry consumes my life!
I'm looking at my 5 piles of clothes laying on the laundry room floor right now. *sigh*

it just happens!! my laundry looks the same!!

That was my whole day yesterday...
I'm with Gab. I never put it off, one day and it's over, otherwise, I would be the most depressed girl on the planet.
That happens to me constantly. I'm always just picking at it and picking at it but never actually getting it DONE.
I hate folding laundry!!!! That's why I only do laundry once a week.
