What a BORING post after being a-wall for a week.

It's late. I'm going to bed. I am really hoping to post something better than this tomorrow. But in the meantime....

HELP ME! I've been asked to put together a "skit" for our Enrichment next Tuesday. (Is it a compliment that I'm always doing these things? Am I that cooky? I just hear them now in their planning meeting. "Let's see? Who could we ask to do the skit? Oh, I know. Lisa-Marie. She has no problem making a complete fool out of herself. She does it frequently anyway. Let's give her an excuse!") Okay, back to the details. The theme is "A Garden Party." Yeah, right! We still have FEET of snow. Who are they kidding? Anyway, they gave the idea of something to Tip Toe Through the Tulips maybe. But, I can do whatever. So, PLEASE help me. Give me some creative ideas. I know it's in you girls! Bring it on.

In the meantime, GOOD NIGHT!

I am no help for you... but yes, us too... FEET of snow. and garden party made me laugh... any store in town has up their garden stuff... umm hello... salt people, I need salt!

nope, they're all out of salt.

ok, I realize no help to you, completely off the subject, but that's what came to mind with your post... hehe

You should have your garden party in the snow....act like you think the power of positive thinking will make spring magically come and then shiver and freeze and end up coming to terms with the fact that it is so cold and make snow angels.

Is it supposed to be spiritual? You could have very dedicated visiting teachers come and try to talk you into your senses about having a garden party in the snow.

Okay, you are right....I got nuthin'

I have no ideas for you because you're creative enough on your own! I know this because of all your posts with little song diddies on them. Tell you what, I'll help you with your skit if you help me give my lesson in RS on Sunday.

In situations such as these, I always consult the master: GOOGLE. I guarantee some crazy ward has done just that thing and posted about it somewhere. Dig deep, you'll find it.

So glad it's you and not me. I hate stuff like that.

Ugh. A garden party skit. I guess we're all getting the creative RS birthday dinner ideas, huh?

Ours is a pioneer theme...all I know is that I'm making cornbread.

Good luck and let us know what you do.

I'm with Christie. Go to the trusted internet. I have no ideas just an UGH sorry to hear that. I stress about just coming up with activities for primary. But a skit for adults? That's a tougher crowd. Good luck and let us know what you end up doing.

Lisa Marie, actually we are thinking of coming and spending Easter with them! My e-mail is groseclj@libertyuhsd.k12.ca.us
(that's at work). Let's keep in touch, I would really love to meet you, you seem very, very fun. Bajio's?

When do you have to do the skit? I'll be thinking...I was always asked to do that kind of stuff before I started teaching seminary. Now that I work fulltime and teach seminary, everyone is afraid to ask me to do anything!!!!

I don't have any ideas either! Sorry! But I think when you do come up with something you should post it, because now I'll be dying to know.

ok, when i think of a "Garden party" i think of Alice in Wonderland when she is with the flowers... do you know what I'm talking about? -- And the little Tea party that she keeps trying to have with the white rabbit... anyways, That's the first thing that came to my mind. hmmm
Good Luck with that! Let us know how it turns out! :o)
