Jensen Family Week in Review July 13th-19th

  • I finally got a camera back and have taken 106 pictures since Thursday! See, a camera is a need, NOT a want.
  • Meg has learned to take all her clothes and diaper off in bed.

  • Connor has taken to referring to himself in the first person. Interesting.
"Mom, can Connor have a popsicle?"
"Yes, Connor wants to."
"Connor didn't do it on purpose."
"Connor loves you."

  • Sirri had her first soccer practice. She was cute in her teeny tiny shin guards. She was extremely shy. She was thankful to have one little friend on the team. She wouldn't let that one little friend out of her sight. She was pretty good and very fun to watch! She thinks she will like soccer.

She also has the curse of short Jensen legs.

But she tries HARD! Bless her little heart, and stubby legs!

  • We added three new additions to our rock garden.
Mom's

Sirri's

Connor's

  • We camped in our own yard.
    • I learned a few things:
      • I prefer camping when my bed isn't thirty feet away tempting me.
      • We need to build a fire pit.
      • You don't have to travel far to have a good time.
      • The kids are quite talented at Bocce Ball.
      • The kids LOVED it!
      • It was worth it.

  • We painted with ice cubes. Meg thought they were very yummy. I'm surprised she didn't get a major head ache from all the food coloring she surely ingested.
  • Sirri has started to sound out words on her own.
"I LV YU HIDE." (translation: I love you Heidi.)

I'm impressed by your rock. It's extra cute and I can tell just by looking at it that you're artistic. I think I need a rock. I'm not artistic though--at least not with painting rocks.

I love the picture of naked meg in her bed. So cute. And so typical of that age. They get too big too fast! sigh.

Have your kids ever had a day when they didn't get to do something fun? Don't tell my kids. We keep them locked in the basement and let them out once a week so that they can see that there actually is a sun. You are awesome!

Yay! I am so glad you have a new camera!! We missed the pictures of the little ones! Well, Meg has learned how to undress now, so you will have to concentrate on her putting her clothes on! She looks so cute with her little bum sticking up!
Honestly, Honey, who would think of camping out in your yard but you??!! That was great and I am sure all three of the kids just loved it! You kids are something else!! No problem when you have company this summer - they can just camp out in your yard!! All the rocks are cute and a good addition to what you have!!
We love you!!

I have never painted with ice cubes...I need to try that with my kids.

That was a great summary...that little nudist in her crib is pretty adorable :)

Sirri is so adorable in those videos. I love her little legs and her bouncing pig tails.

Your rock is very wonderful! Everyone looks so cute!

Make my family a Rock. You need to start a "personlized rock" store!

Love your camping in the backyard shots. You are such a fun mom!

Would you teach my daughter how to be a good mom? Compared to you she had a really lousy one. I bow in awe.

Lisa Marie, you never cease to amaze me. You and Kendon are just the best parents three kids could ever have. I can't wait to see you all again! Give all of yourselves a big hug from Aunt Penny, and have lots of fun with the Atchleys. Can't wait to see more pictures. Love you all, Aunt Penny

I would like to add that camping in the yard is the only camping I like to do...That way after all the kids are asleep I can slip away to my bed and set the alarm for early and slip back in...I love my soft warm bed way too much!! I know, I'm a cheater!!
