My Dad is AMAZING! Here are a few reasons why....

He always wants to experience our everyday activities with us.

He is carrying on the tradition of "Pony Boy."

He treats the women in his life with utmost respect.

He is enthusiastic.

He is very handsome. Especially his "proud face."

He revels the small joys in life and teaches them to his children and grandchildren.

He always makes it to special occasions.

He is always more than willing to help with a project. (And does very good work!)

He loves to read my kids bedtime stories.

He is ADORED by Connor.

He taught me to LOVE ice cream.

He is always up for taking outings.

He is kind and gentle.

He is not afraid to be silly.

He loves his family.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!
I LOVE YOU!

i like your dad too. i will always remember being with your family for thanksgiving 2000. it was a good time. i laugh every time i think of your dad's "contacts routine" at the kitchen table.
maybe i'm the only one who remembers that . . . hmm. . .

Hi Honey! We feel the same way, only from the "in-law" point of view! He is a wonderful son-in-law, husband, son, and such an outstanding Dad, as you girls all know! And------he is getting old!!! Can you believe he is 55
and just a couple more months, so will your Mom!! My goodness, that makes Papa and me feel REALLY old!!!
We love you!

i thought he was wearing knickers in that one picture, and i was already to point out his fashion faux pas. then i saw it was a walking cast and felt a little guilty.

dads are great. i wish mine lived closer. you are so lucky!

Every girl needs a daddy! You are very lucky, and so was I. Your post made me miss my dad, but also made me so grateful that I had him in my life at all. Thank Heavens for good fathers!

And I am still digesting your life without a dishwasher. I didn't have one until we moved to CA, but that was before kids. Now, everytime I do dishes I think of you. I'm not kidding! You are a woman!
