Look what Meg has learned to do!
Isn't that super sweet? She has really picked the sign language up fast. Most of the time we don't even have to ask her to say please anymore. You just ask her if she wants something and she will say, "please." And then, being so polite, she says "thank you." She also knows, "I love you" (sort of) and "night night!"
I really wish we would have used this trick with Sirri. She could talk just fine but chose to say/whine/scream "uh! uh! uh! uh! uh! uh! uh! uh!" instead. I can seriously remember thinking, "this is what it feels like to be going insane!" After what seemed like FOREVER and right before I was about to commit myself, she quit. Thank heavens.
Anyway, hopefully we can avoid that with Meg! This week I want to teach her a few new words.
P.S. I know that it is always a bit, okay a LOT obnoxious to watch mommies feeling proud, and smothering their kids and saying "good girl" over and over again. Sorry. Hope you still enjoyed it.

That is such a great proud mommy moment. Babies who sign just look so smart.
That was not obnoxious at all. You are the cutest mom! I loved seeing you in a video since I've never met you! And I am super impressed with the signing! I have to teach my next child that for sure. Why are babies so adorable? Every thing they do makes me smile.
Meg is so sweet. She sat next to me in Relief Society and smiled and played and was so wonderful. I love you Meggers. You really warm my heart little sister.
I love how you shoo the other child away with the cup of ice. I have a video where I'm trying to get my youngest to talk and the middle child walks in front of the camera. Like the great mother that I am, I shove him right out of the way. And now it's captured on film for all of our posterity. Go me.
Love the signing - adorable!
She is so cute. That's it! I'm totally teaching Faith that new trick. Ya know, when she's one or so. And you look skinny and fabulous in your video montage.
You wouldn't want to see me kneeling like that because my legs bulge out. (did that sound bad?)
NOT OBNOXIOUS. SO cute! (Like Denae said, it's so fun to see the moms in the video. You are cute and your hair is the perfect red!)
That was precious! I love to watch babies sign, it's so cute! We taught London to sign and it made life so much easier.
And as far as smothering goes - we call our kids "poor smothered babies" all the time. :)
That is too cute for wordss! She is so darned sweet anyway! Looks like Sirri is pleased with her too! Glad you are teaching her some new words, even though I hate to see her grow up too! Guess it happens to all of them doesn't it? We would feel bad if they didn't!!! I love those videos!!
Love you too!
I had to watch this again, and then I realize I never commented. That Meg, she's a good one. Smarty pants. That almost makes me want to make a video
